Wow..

LOL...

All the lights got dim and I had to hit backspace...

I found the reply button with my eyes partly closed.

Yes. Seizurelicious.

It's from the movie Jesus Camp. Sounds pretty frightening.

I think the lizard head is edited in there but who knows what goes on at that place.

Yeah, the lizard head is edited in, probably by an old school raver with a good sense of humor. Really, after you watch that movie, you have to either get on board with those fanatics or make fun of them. Having lived in Oklahoma and Colorado Springs I can safely say I know the type.

It's from Jesus Camp and is edited to feature the true Lord, Raptor Christ.™

According to Ron Reno of Focus on the Family, "The directors' claims that they were simply trying to create an 'objective' film about children and faith ring hollow. I don't question the motives of the Christians shown in the film. Indeed, the earnestness and zeal with which the young people pictured attempt to live out their faith are admirable. Unfortunately, however, it appears that they were unknowingly being manipulated by the directors in their effort to cast evangelical Christianity in an unflattering light."

Just watched part 1 & the bit linked above, not sure if I want to watch the rest.

I agree that the editing isn't at all objective (unless this is a doctored version) - IMO they dropped the ball there, the topic deserves to be taken seriously.

Anyone know what (if any) language is being spoken during the scenes of 'intense focus'? I'm thinking none, or 'tongues'.

Raptor Christ FTW

I was camping in the south coast of England just over a year ago, and there was one of those Jesus Camps going on in the next but one field.

The amplified preaching and happy clappy sing-song started in the early hours of the morning and went on throughout most of the day for several days. "We are C we are H we are R I S Tians, etc, etc" It sure seemed like brain washing to me.

Leave the poor kids alone - let them play. They can decide what they believe when they are older and more discerning. It's easy to make children that age believe just about anything you like - Farther Christmas and the Tooth Fairy for example. I shudder to think what damage that kind of preaching could do to their young minds.
Noel has left the building!

I lived in Tulsa, Bartlesville, and Pawhuska - I knew a lot of people who went to ORU, as wel as wesleyan in B-ville. I even knew some focus on the family people, too - they've got Colorado Springs on fucking lockdown, too, but it's impossible to take any of those fanatics serious after this:

That guy had serious power....scary. Living in Denver now, and don't have to even care about that shit, thank god (pun intended).
