When I export a track whats the dither function
it seems to default to triangular, should I go with this or turn off dither
whats the ditherence 'ahem I mean difference

but what i really want to know is....
what funk is it gonna put on my tune, or shall I turn it off, anyone ?

render a short piece of audio with each setting
listen to the rendered audio, choose the one you like the sound of the most.

I tried all six methods of dithering,
but to be honest they all sound the same?

Dithering is a way to preserve the information in the 8 bits that are truncated when going from 24-bit to 16-bit (or 32>24 or 32>16). There are several threads on here already... search and you shall find.
