Re: trying to recreate this sound
Hello,
To me, it sounds like a lead synth at the front center of the stereo image with a distorted guitar at the back sides, everything being passed into a side-chain compressor triggered by the kick (with hard pumping effect).
You should try to recreate the lead synth with a synth using a rectangle waveform and/or pulsed width modulation.
You should also try to apply some Haas effect on the saturated guitar to obtain this kind of extreme stereo image at the left and right sides. You can try to position the sound to the back with a small reverb too.
For the compression, I guess that Ableton's compressor should do the trick (don't forget to activate the side chain and to connect it to the kick sound).
Bonne chance!
