Peter Murphy (Bauhaus) meets Synths and Beats

i was making an electronic track with a chord progression that happened to be the same as a chord progression in the song "Strange Kind of Love" by Peter Murphy from Bauhaus. So i cut some vocals and guitar out and layered it into my track.

i like the melancholic feel of the song but I feel the track is still a bit chaotic and could do with some better mastering. any hints?

the voice and the acoustic guitar. i would like to separate them but it seems impossible.
