Hi
I would like to be able to get both the metronome and the main mix in my headphones, but with no metronome heading out the main outs. I'm using Live with a MOTU Ultralite.
I seem to be only able to get EITHER the whole mix (or individual tracks) without metronome, OR just the metronome in the headphones, but not BOTH.
How can I get both?
Thanks.
merging main outs with metronome in cue
Send cue to your headphones as normal.
Then create an audio track with "Audio In" from master and send "Audio To" the bus going to your headphones.

once I read your reply I smacked myself in the forehead for not thinking of this sooner.. I need the metronome for both me and my drummer, and I would like to also hear the main mix. And finally, output the 1/2 to speakers without the metronome so here's what i have going..
Main mix out go 1/2 (left and right into my mixer)
Metronome on 3 ( going to headphones)
Bass synth to 4 (going to a subwoofer/bass amp)
So I did as you said, made a audio track with Audio IN from Master and audio out to 3 (mono I guess but that'll work) The problem I'm having is the mix in my headphones is delayed, so I tried using track delay at the bottom of the audio track and I really don't want to have to mess around with -x.xx amount of delay, cause that's just too shotty for me..
any suggestions? am i doing this wrong?
