here's the kicker on this - the inspire does not come with "presonus preamps", it states that it comes with preamps but they are not the presonus quality which i think are pretty decent. i plugged my condenser mic into the inspire and couldn't even get a strong signal - i thought something was wrong ...

If you upgrade lite to 4.1 you can get midi control and use it with triggerfinger. just go to upgrades, put your serial in and your there - a gratis!

all the limitations of the lite version but plenty of control options so you can see if you want the full version.

i thought that - the fact that the whole thing is slowing down might mean it's time for a new machine. i guess there is no fixing a crap chipset??

Can someone tell me what the best settings are for using live 4.1.4 lite (got it with my trigger finger) and and old computer with 900mhz Athlon and xp? I have used ASIO but get this processor slow down where all of the audio slows with minimal cpu usage and/or use the DX settings but i have about 5 ...
