Hi guys, uploaded a Progressive House track to soundcloud. Seeing as though we've had at least 2 days of summer here in the UK; I think it's got a slight summer feel to it, anyway...

Tune for you all if you've got nothing better to do...
Had this tune knocking around for months, so just wanted to get it finished and out of my head really.

Re: first attempt at electrohouse
Playing it now and enjoying it. It kicked in pretty early, but almost immediatly done a u-turn. In an ideal world there'd be a bit more of the chunk from 0.30 to 1.00, but hey - it's your tune and I'm happy to hear what you throw at us.

Re: [Electro] Noway
I'm into this! From the intro I was expecting some tame sounds, but as soon as it kicked in - it all changed. Quite a few little gems/sounds/suprises in there to keep me entertained!

Re: Deep House stuff
Nice tune - it's the sort of stuff I'd listen to. Only one tiny comment (purely personal) is I find the snare a bit all over the place and a little distracting. Other than that, a really good tune!

Hey, won't seem to play past 2:47 for me - but sounded neat up until then.

Re: Click, Listen, Comment (Progressive House track)
Hi, many thanks for the feedback. Yeah, I gave it a lengthy intro purely for the purposes of using it in my DJ set sometime soon, suppose I should have made two versions really - thanks though.
You're spot on with the reference to the normalizing! It didn't give me that extra space needed.

Sidechain (Ducking) causing bad sounds
Hi, title says it all really.
When I use sidechain compression (to get the ducking effect) on thick basslines, it seems to be causing the bass to slighty crackle/distort, basically just not sound as nice as I think it could do.
This only happens on my thicker basslines.
Anyone had the same ...

Re: Bit of a problem...
Ah, the "Q" word! Thanks, I'll try that.
Also, another daft question, but how is Ableton pronounced?
I say "able-ton", but a friend of mine is adamant that it's pronouced like "a-bull-ton"

Bit of a problem...
I’m guessing there’s a simple answer to this that I’m missing, but….
Note: I’m talking about session view here.
I initially started using Ableton for DJing. So I’d load up two tracks, play Track A, mess around with it etc etc, then I’d click ‘play’ on Track B and it would start after a set amount ...

Help with getting this damn CD finished
Hello all,
Anyone got any quick ways to solve the following:
Basically, I’ve been working on 7 songs for around a year (slow worker – I know), and they’re all completely finished and ready to be sent off for duplication – all except for one track!
When I went to ‘normalize’ this track to a ...

Re: What in the world did they do to the warp markers in Live 8?
Suppose I'm lucky at being new to Ableton, no old techniques to change - but the whole warping thing threw me at first. Eventually got my head around it (but then again, I could be doing it completely wrong! But it seems to work well enough).
Bloody love Ableton!!!
