well, the djm600 can't control live in anyway. you can certainly run audio to the mixer from live, just like you would run audio to any mixer.

the dell ultrasharp lcds are very good. i work at a mac based design studio and everyone uses dell screens. they are much cheaper than the apple displays and are still very good.

i would suggest some turntables, a mixer and a vinyl simulation software, thats much more fun and you learn beatmatching by yourself!

i agree. i'd get traditional vinyl turntables and the software like ssl, torq, etc. this will be cheaper than cdjs and is a better setup IMHO.

For me there's nothing to consider: LED displays augment the battery's endurance by 30min-60min, I read. The new main CPU family helps that too.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for how to designate multiple loop points within a track? I'm planning on DJing with Live and want to place loops in the beginning and end of the track. From what I can tell so far, you can only place one loop per track.

I got the CS-32 to work. I downloaded the CS-32 USB to MIDI drivers, which seem to work fine so far. You can't change the MIDI values that the controller sends, but Ableton is recognizing the controller and the Learn function works.
