You have to pay attention to the "value" column in Midistroke. Set the low/high output values for the intended control on the SL (using the edit button), and then make sure you add a trigger level in Midistroke in the "value" field.

Good luck,

Joe.

I have the firebox. It's awesome for the most part. It doesn't need it's own power supply either. But, the Ultralite is in another league in my opinion! Keep it.

Check out the new manual available with the universal automap update - this new manual is much better than the original.

The editor is just ok - the easiest way to edit the SL (imho, of course - some people dig the editor) is directly on the unit:

1) Push the edit button in the center lineup

Hey there -

I've edited my automap with no problems. I'm currently using 4 slightly modified versions of the ableton automap as a template group. Here are some of the custom changes I've made:

-Top left buttons under LCD: The first five are assigned to other templates; 1-4 are linked to my custom ...

My install went pretty smoothly - I think. All templates are working, but here are a few strange things:

1) Tap tempo and tempo control are only working when the "plug-in automap" is active.
2) The Automap Server has to be running for tempo control to work

3) If you are using any plug-ins in your ...

This happened to me as well a few months ago, but I have a Mac. I haven't checked recently.

Maybe it's file specific? I think my blank Asd file was the analysis file for Sleepy Hollow by Stefan Goldmann.

If you rename a specific track and then rename the asd file to match, will the data in the ...

Hey there -

Not sure how Scissors works, but drag an audio file into a track in arrangement view, zoom in to a point where you're comfortable, click the line break with the mouse, and then hit ctrl+E (or Apple+E).

Dancetracks has "live-ready" files (!)

Hey all - I'm not sure how I missed this yesterday but Dancetracks Digital is offering "Live Ready" files in conjunction with Ableton.

Gotta do it: For Sale - two CDJ-800's

I'm sorry to complicate the situation for all of you guys on the fence with regard to buying CDJs....

That's right, I'm ready to sell. After a year using Ableton I think I'm all set with my CDJs.

Here are the key details:

These were purchased in January 2005 from Guitar Center in Boston. I have ...

I have the 2.16 Ghz version, and i doubt there is any perceivable difference between the 2.16 Ghz and 2.0 Ghz. The best thing about the 2.16 Ghz version is that you don't have to wait for it - you can pick it up in store (assuming you want the faster HD).

The trick is to get the 2.16 version with ...

My Firebox is working well with the MBP. The Firebox comes with two software apps - a Control Panel and a router/mixer. The control panel allows you to boost the input levels on Mic 1/Mic 2 and line 3/line 4 by 12 dB and this is useful sometimes. Until Presonus updates these apps you won't be able ...

Hey Groovecake -

Is your Oxygen working without issues? Do you use the Enigma editor?

Just curious. Enigma is not working on my Macbook.

Hey all,

Definitely some strange issues with the Macbook! I'm on Macbook #2 now. The first one lived fast and died young. Real young in this case. The one I have now is dead silent and thus far I'm very impressed/happy with it. I have heard the noises on other Macbooks - the screen noise is ...
