Just wanted to say thanks for posting this,

I had the exact same issue with my virus TI and Maschine.

For me I had to make sure the record/ arm track button was pressed as well, otherwise I would get a really annoying latency

I'm using Ableton with Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro spread across 2 screens. In previous versions this was fine. However in Ableton 8 it is really slowing the smoothness of the graphics down.

I reverted back to tiger OS and it fixed the problem, however I now have to come back to using Snow ...

Even after I've added the paremeter to the list, I'm still unable to record tweaks in real time with the VC in use.

I'm using other synths that run with normal midi connectors, and I'm so used to recording in filter sweeps etc in real time, that it's really holding my music up.

I've tried everything I can think of, but I'm still unable to record live automation from the hardware unit of the virus T.I with the virus control plug in enabled.
This is because live stops receiving midi data from the unit via USB.
Does anyone know how to make live receive midi data via USB ...
