This is trying to resurrect a 15yo thread... maybe there are better ways to do it now? But has anybody has a template for that pioneer filter?

looking for locking tracks too... ie i have mixer midi program changes for sends in a column that should move along other cells
so i'm thinking of copying the full track, making changes and pasting it back.... just a thought if that helps

i also had that issue today and found a solution as I was trying to export slices of large file into multiple mp3's already renamed in the session and wanted to print names on individual mp3's
I found out that if you do:

cmd+R (rename)
cmd+C
cmd+TAB (switch app to opened blank textedit doc)
cmd+V ...

I am preparing a live gig and wanted to follow a live band adding loops and fx.
Unfortunately I can't follow a live drummer because if I miss a tap tempo the whole thing go bezerk and let's say a tune that was going at 100 would jump to 160 or some crazy shaït like that. That would also ...

I also noticed I didn't have the looper in my installed live7 but thought it was an option I didn't buy at the time.
I like the idea of ¨sell the notebook, buy a looper pedal¨. That is still a valid option but a looper would cost more than the price I would get from this laptop ...

will dedicate an old notebook to do LOOPS only with a Digi 003 or Mbox
The goad is to have a single track with a looper only and maybe a filter on the master out so it may not be CPU hungry and allow me to rec and play smoothly on the fly.
But, what would be the best software combinaition in ...

but in the download section of ableton, it is that heavy to get the latest live.
I tried the other option, the standard non-suite version and it's about 700 meg..
why isn't there just a patch for the app?
do we need to get all the basic sounds that come with it?

I got this greyed automation from time to time, I don't know how I disactivated them, it happened with the tempo track and now with some filter. Didn't find it in the manual or on this forum.

well this must be it, when the ilok wasn't there it turned off the vst pref, I just figured they were working as AU since they appeared fine in the list and could be inserted inside the project... live is still quite new to me, a fun program for sure, but I still have a lot to learn!
