Yes, installing a drive voids the warranty. Put the original drive back in and don't tell anyone. So long as the issue still occurs with the original drive and it's not the new hard drive giving the problem, it'll be diagnosed and repaired. Secretly put your drive back in when you get it back. As lo...

Clip Based Envelop Recording

I hope I missed this in my brief glance at the beta, but...please? What I've liked most about Live is session view and this seems like a missing key element.

Then why dosent this give me 256 seperate non conflicting pads?? I dont get it, why does it have to be so confusing. Make sure that you aren't sen...

Make video hard synch to audio! You move a warp maker => video gets slower or faster to match audio position... I guess it only by changing video playback speed you can stay in synch with audio! This would make ableton my only software! peace yo! That's fine if your looking to mangle your video wit...

Re: RECORDING

If your a MAC guy trying to run a legit 4 -8 hour block studio and cannot afford PT TDM your fucked. No one is going to pay you $40 - $60 an hour to slap around with Logic/DP unless you have a BUTT load of outboard gear. Good luck, hope your studio does well. Investigate. . . What a load of bullshi...

They are exactly the same, and when the next version comes out, you are allowed to upgrade at the normal retail price, just like everyone else, and *poof*, you now have commercial license. That's what I did. Reaktor 4 edu -> Reaktor 5.

Relax. It'll work.

$149 is pretty steep if you don't use all the features and just want to sync a video.

Re: [OT] Help to stay away from alcohol needed

I was there once. The only thing I found to work for myself was to remove myself from situations where alcohol was a big part of the event. I had to do it for some months. After that, I was slowly able to return to bars with gigs and have some semblance of control. Every once in awhile, I do get car...

Talk about old news :P Fear the altivec support! yeah that was the bit I liked - you look at the date and THAT's how long people were asking! bit of a pointless request now though... I don't think it's pointless. Not everyone is going to dump their PPC macs tomorrow at the drop of a hat. Cour...

No it's not. Bidule can host VST/AUS while running as a rewire slave. I think if you register Bidule you can even use Bidule as a VST in live that is also a Rewire master.
