Re: Anyone here own the Roland SPD-30?
Hey. Thought I'd add my 2 cents. Same issue with usb clock sync, spd stops when live stops but starts on its own. Actual MIDI connection may be better than USB (?) but may even just be easier to set both clocks for live and spd individually and manually assuming bpm doesn't change over time.

Re: Using Launchpad to re-record a clip
I totally freaking agree. I hit delete on the keyboard to remove a clip. Not ideal as if I hit it and the clip's not selected, I can delete the whole track. Not goood.

You could get MidiPipe for Mac (or possibly MidiYoke for PC) I use Mac and MidiPipe lets you filter a message and change it something else. It takes a bit to get your head around it, but once you got it its easy. So you want to get same info to 2 programs, make a pipe

Re: Video possibilities with Live ?
Ha. I spent a LOT of time finding out about this. It seems such an obvious thing to include a video clip with a sound clip for live performance and you want it all to go in time, so one person can effectively do the audio and the visuals at the same time.
