i think you should try out massive, threre's a few skrillex and datsik soundbanks with presets out there wich can be good to have a look at...

yeah, had too look it up, but it seems to be usb on the D2, silly apogee...

i guess you have to go with the fireface 400 or something then

Duet 2 should work for you

edit: i have Duet at the moment, its ok, nothing more imo... for some reason it drains a litte cpu power which is pretty bad when working on bigger projects...

Automation trouble

Hi!

I have i wierd problem at the moment. When ever i move a clip in the arrange-window, the automation doesent move at all. So if i want to move something that has any automaion i have to cut and paste the automaion manually afterwards. I must have changed a setting somewhere to enable this ...

you can't physically move the return tracks on the GUI into the group, but you can effectively have them be in the group

set the main return channels you'd like to group to 'sends only' ,
now make a group of some of your normal tracks, if you haven't already
make two new audio tracks in the ...

Effect returns within groups?

Heyho.

I'd like to know if anyone here knows if its possible to have effect returns within a group or possibly within an instrument rack much like you can have in a drum rack. Would be a nice function for additive processing. Now i have to make an extra audio track in the group just for bussing ...

I noticed the same thing, with low buffer size it works much better. To be honest, I think that's not really Ableton Live's fault, and more to do with how the plugin works.

I guess if you need to increase the buffer at a later stage, the workaround would be to perform the effects, freeze, and dump ...

Yeah, unfortunatly i have to put the latency at max after a while because my MPB is over 3 years now. But it doesent bother me that much when im mixing though.
