is there anyway to switch a channel to mono instead of stereo? i can't seem to find the command.

right now im using a soundblaster card, not much better than a stock card.

simple question here
im doing a little "mix" with ableton. got about 4-5 tracks beat matched, i just want to be able to control the bpm but not for the entire set, i want the mix to be sped up in some area's
how do i make bpm changes in area's of my set?

well, when i load up certain vst's they correspond correctly to my midi controller (the controllers keys play notes on the piano roll, knobs are assignable, etc) but using that same midi controller when i load other vst's like "subduer" for example. the midi controller's key's when stroked change ...

certain vst's i use work perfectly with my edirol midi controller, whilst others have parameters somehow assigned to the piano keys on my midi controller. thus making me have to "scratch my ass with my elbow" to use those vst's.
any ideas as to how to get all my vst's assigned to the right keys on ...
