Similar problem. Left Live open (but minimized) for an hour or so while doing other things. Came back and got a warning that I didn't eject a drive properly when nothing was ejected. I run my Live library from an external firewire 800 drive.

This happens to me too. It's especially bothersome while trying to watch a tutorial on YouTube while working on something in Ableton. I have just learned to minimize Live, so my eyes don't go all buggy!
