Can you side Chain in Ableton?
Hello,
Can you side chain in ableton?
ie: send the signal of the bass drum to a compressor/limiter plug in on a separate channel
I've tried every which way and can't seem to find it.
Please help. If ableton can't do it...why? it's the most recognised dance music technique known to man

Audio Dropping Out
Hi,
I'm running Live 5 on a G4 iBook, 1.5 GHz Ram, 1.42GHz Processor.
I've got about 10 tracks in a 4 bar loop.
I'm playing it with no problems...then the audio cuts out on me...doesn't come back...the levels are still showing signs of audio, but nada coming out the speakers. I have to restart ...

Proper Sidechain Facility
Hi,
I would like to be able to easily sidechain pads etc. with the Bass Drum signal. Can you make a key input on one of your compressors so this is possible?
Thanks
James

Maxing Out The CPU on an G4 iBook
I’m running Live 5 on a 14” iBook, 1.42 GHz, 512MB. Using an Mbox 2.
I find that however I set the Audio Buffer, it struggles. Dropping out, clipping and generally hesitating when for example there’s a crash cymbal coming up or new piece of audio.
Is it because my computer albeit new, is actually ...
