yea i have been having this problem foreeverm,its really getting on my nerves

i have been getting this problem for a long time now,when i start to have more than 3-4 plugins(vst's) it would lag,trainwreck,buffer samples,and i could never really hear what im making.I thought it was because i was only using a 1.8 ghz imac with 1gb ram,because i was freezing and still had the ...

this one time I was producing in reason and then i switched to ableton

it saved my life

I work on a mac and my partner on a pc.

whenever i pan the master, it will play and render about 1/2 of a bar before the actual panning automation in ableton.

anybody have this problem ?

I get issues that are kind of like this too,for example i will take a finished track and start deleting a few tracks off it so i can make a new track out of it and usualy around track 13 i will delete it and it will crash...or if i select alot of patterns to delete at once it will just crash,really ...

I have this problem too when using any virtual synths and i use ( VANGUARD,ALBINO,RAPTURE,NEXUS and a few others )

I get this ALOT..basicly every synths,and my partner does aswell and he uses a pc as i am on a mac.

I'v recently ran into a BIG problem with ableton.
I noticed when i bounce synths off ANY vst instrument i use ,in audio it is not synched and i must real time strech it myself for VERY SINGLE synth now ( you gottA zoom in a bit in the audio env to see ),it's a really big hassle and even tho i LOVE ...

During my last live set ,I was using my oxygen 8 and in the middle of my set all the midi maps just deactivated themselfs completly.,this has happend to me before,on about 10 shows it's only done it twice.

anybody know whats up ? is it the keyboard or ableton ?

Right click on the Project folder in the Live Browser, and choose 'manage project'. There, unfold the 'unused samples'. There, click 'show' for each of the section, so you'll which files are not used, in the left hand side Browser. You can review the files, listen to them using the prehear ...

In ableton's previous version 5,there was a simple purge button to delete all the unused files but now there seems to not be one,or i can't find it anymore...and some of my projects are 2gb with 3150 files and i don't know how to delete the unused ones....does anybody have an idea how ?

yes thats what iv been doing for the past few months..but it doesnt give me a free upgrade, and i registerd my product july 14 so i should have it

not really guys I havnt looked everywhere to fix it...basicly i bought ableton 5 after the date they said if u buy it u get 6.0 update free ,and they told me to find the update somewhere in my account downloads but it was never there.

when i move a midi loop to another place in the sequencer it doesnt take the automation with it..it used too before..is there some sort of trigger button ?
