No, there's currently no way to export looper layers as separate clips. It's all one big audio clip. And remember: audio. So no post-treating of midi data etc.

I have one from Roland. Seems dead sturdy and has a switch to make it continuous. Playing the piano suddenly became fun!

I start a song playing with a drum loop.
Then record a first layer for 4 bars in Looper.
Then drag the clip onto a track.
The clip shows up as "16+", meaning the length does not match.
I have set Quantization in Looper to Global.

I tried that, and it helped me install the Beta library and lessons. However, the packs for Electric, Operator and Tension did not install. Same error message about a database problem as mentioned above.

Live did not crash, and I did not have other instances open.

From before I had the Live 7 ...

My guess:
a) (Most probable) You're only getting half the signal in each output. Either left or right.
b) There's phase issue that causes parts of the sound to collapse. You can check this by putting a Utility effect on the master channel and phase flipping one of the channels, then listen in your ...

The most obvious application would be a common reverb send for multiple channels. It's easier to manage one rather than several reverbs, it's easier on cpu, and it makes sense soundwise to create one space.
