I've had this when using envelopes in Live 8, particularly on autofilter. Try making sure you draw a small slope to reset any automation you have in your clips.

Can anyone tell me the correct settings on my SL and in Live 6 in oreder to use the SL's mod stick properly for Vsti's. I've contacted Novation and got this reply:

Strange. I had the same problem but found that if you open Live without your SL connected yes, you lose your settings. If you open Live with SL connected to a different USB port, it appears as USB1 or USB2. But when you stay in the same USB port and only open Live with your SL connected everything ...
