ok I think Im having a dumb moment...

I have my amp setup from the lineouts and my headphones in the headphone cue socket on the front.

how do i set live to play out to the lineouts BUT only preview and cue in my headphones.

Im using OS X btw.

ok any ideas as to why?

I recently erased my mac, reinstalled the os (10.4.6) and left it at that.

ok so i decided to venture into playing with audio effects

load up 5 channels of effects pre bundled with live and it all starts distorting heavily.

any ideas?

OK I am looking at getting a CME UF% after reading good things about it but the general feeling towards CME is that USB midi drivers on mac are a little wishy washy, so If i get a maudio audiophile for mixing and hook the CME up through its midi port am I right in thinking no drivers are needed?

When getting to the reusing ideas section of the built in tour demo, live tells you to drag your live clip into a folder > doing so pops up an error saying exporting is not permitted when Live is in Demo Mode.

I have registered my live 5.2 last night so it is indicating Demo Mode as in the built in ...

In my view this was not a MAC or OS executable virus more a Java or web based script that simply took control of his web browser.

As web browsers need to be standards compliant the only form of defense is to manually overide the pop-up, javascripts etc etc in your browser preferences.

OK I just reformatted my powerbook and setup all again after ordering ableton, I am missing playing so am thinking of installing the demo again, what comes on the Ableton CD in the box thats different?

or is the demo basically the full version waiting for a serial number?

personaly i also think its complete and utter cheder they sampled quite well imo but completely ruined the rest of the track and her well i think her performance is not far from wishy washy.
