I'm looking to try to understand how to recreate the kind of chord progression sound as used in Tim Bergs - Bromance:

That enables me to save my effects and simpler, what about saving the actual notes that I've created to go with it? Is it possible to save this as one thing? Or do I need to save the midi notes and then the rack as you suggest?

Hi,
Couple of questions in one really. Firstly I've created a simpler track and made a nice little sample with a few effects applied. Is it possible to somehow save this so that I can use it again at another time? I can export the midi track but this just saves the "notes".

Hi, thanks for the response.
I guess what I mean is that you see people with these n x n set of buttons on a device tapping away at buttons and knobs etc. If I have my session view with my kicks, claps, synths etc. Do these external devices just allow you to play these clips, create them as you go ...
