Re: THIS FORUM’S FUTURE: what do you want to see? 🔥
The lack of pagination, the dynamically loading content, the whole "infinite scrolling" thing. And many other UI elements that just rub me the wrong way.

Re: Support for Linux in Live
I don't like what MS and Apple are doing either, but Linux is pretty niche and most commercial software doesn't run on it.
Some have also dropped Linux support after realizing that it's unprofitable, due to the low amount of users and the time it takes to deal with its peculiarities.

Effects for hardware outputs: global setting for monitoring
This is for adding corrective EQ or other effects to headphones or speakers.
It would go in the 'Output Config' section of Audio Device settings. (Maybe for inputs too, but it's less needed there.)
Each stereo pair would get effect slots where you could add either native effects or 3rd party ones ...

Re: Don't save plugin state with project
I just tried with loadbang. It works as intended when loading the Max device into the project.
But it doesn't work when loading a saved Live project that already contains the Max device; it loads the old VST parameters.

Re: Don't save plugin state with project
"Where exactly is Max looking for the preset names?" normally max is looking in the folders that are set under "File Preferences".
Yep that was it, thanks. One caveat is that Max doesn't load .vstpreset files, which Live uses for VST3 plugins. Looks like a bug.
Anyway, it does load VST2 .fxb ...

Re: Don't save plugin state with project
Yeah, maybe. I don't know much about Max, but I did give it a try.
The manual says you can load a VST plugin and a preset with vst~ VST-plugin-filename preset-effects-name

Don't save plugin state with project
I use a VST EQ plugin on my main out in Live for corrective equalization.
I set the required parameters as the default inside the plugin. So every time the plugin is loaded, it's already doing what it needs to do (and I don't use this plugin for other purposes).
The problem: the plugin settings are ...

Re: Uninstall Push Driver
Thanks for the suggestions.
I also found a post that describes how to install Live without the Push driver:
https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopi ... 2#p8680442
It might be useful to someone, until there's an official solution.

Uninstall Push Driver
It's kinda rude that Ableton installs the driver for Push without even asking.
But if you insist on doing that, at least provide an uninstaller for it.

FWIW, since then I've been installing into Program Files without any problems. :)

MIDI Drum Editor (Drum View)
I'd like to see an alternative view in the MIDI editor, like the Drum Editor/View found in some other DAWs.
It makes programming "one shot" events such as typical drum hits easier, because the notes have no length and you can freely place them very close to each other without having to resize them ...

Live 11.2 (beta) is out, still no changes.
