Controling parameters in reason when rewired
Hey, I am playing a show this Friday so any help is appreciated. I have set up multiple midi tracks in Live to control different instances of subtractor and maelstrom in reason 3. My question is this, is there a simple way of controlling the parameters of synths in reason while rewired? I might just...

I'm using the firebox with the regular macbook and its great. I even dropped it at a gig and it fell like 3 feet onto the floor (carpeted) and it fine. I was stressing cause the guitar player walked into the midi cable and it got yanked off the table. Pre's sound great though I recommend getting a n...

Bluetooth Mouse
So I'm getting tired of using th trackpad on my laptop when I play live and since the macbook has the built in Bluetooth I'm thinking this may be the way to go. I'm just curious if anyone has any first hand experience with using something like this http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools...

I don't have any experience per say with the Helix board, besides checking it out at the local store, but a while ago I was looking at them. I just didn't need the whole mixer thing though. They seem to be a good deal, but you get what you pay for. I also I don't think the faders work in Firewire mo...

Thanks DrewBix, This looks very interesting, what's the difference between this and setting up a template with the controller? Please send me a copy of the files you mentioned I'd like to see what they look like. I'm not exactly sure how to set up the userconfiguration.txt or setting up a directory....

Novation Remote LE Templates
I have a Remote LE and just downloaded the Bass Station pugin. The controller has templates for Live and for the Bass station. I have the template for Live setup and that works fine. I installed Bass Station and Live sees it. Everything is running fine except I can't figure out how to run the bass s...

How to double loop length?
How do You make a loop that lasts 2 bars, repeat every four? Is there a way to insert silence so that the loop is twice as long, but with the second half not playing anything, that would accomplish what I'm after. Or do i need to edit the loop in a Wave editor and add A silence?
thanks

Memory Latency
I'm in the market for more ram. I'm gonna up the 512 to 2g, but was curious if many people running ableton use low latency memory. So who's into buying super high end memory and who says its no big deal?
