I'm still working my way around Session Drums, and I've found something I don't understand.

If I load a multimic kit, the volume of each drum can never go beyond 2/3 of the volume slider. This is because each sample has the volume and velocity set to a macro so that the volume cannot go any higher ...

I set some uneffected sine tones as clips. I tried to play, and they overloaded the clip and master levels. No audio.

So, I redid the tones. Set the levels much lower. same thing.

realised that maybe i should have removed the asd files, so Live would re-read the clips.

did that. same thing ...
