Could you give an example on when this builtin editor is better?

That looks really cool, but do the other users have to pay to sign up for the service or is the cost borne purely by the folder owner? I'd be happy with that but not if other users i invite have to pay to access the content....

With my Numark Omni control there is absolutely no problems but it's a built-in sound card in a MIDI controller. With my ESI ESU1808 it works as long as I'm not going fullscreen. I personally think there is problems with Live's audio engine as everything works perfectly here with Logic, Traktor Pro ...

Did you try the things I suggested?

Are you using an external soundcard? Do you have a secondary display connected to your Mac?

Try play the track with the Preferences window open in Live - do you still hear the pops and crackles when playing with Preferences open in Live?

I also got a lot of problems with pops and crackles in Live ...

I'm using my Macbook Pro with a secondary display. When I close the lid on my Macbook Pro and only use the secondary display the crackles and pops are there. I just tried keeping the lid on the Macbook open and use Ableton on the Macbook display - there it works perfectly!

I just got the ESI ESU1808 and a bucket of problems with Ableton...

Whenever I play some audio - MP3s, MIDI, whatever I get a lot of crackles and pops. When I play the same MP3s in iTunes, Traktor Pro etc. there is no problems. Neither is there problems with the sound in Logic 9.
