Hi,
I recorded a midi clip in the arrangement view. But when I play it, the first quarter note in the bar is silent. However, the 2nd quarter beat notes sound. When I looked at the clip, I do see clearly the midi notes and velocity markings. Somehow it doesn't play the midi note from the beginning ...

Thanks EX and UKRuss for your advice! One other thing. Once I record the vocals and other instruments how do you recommend i clean up the tracks? Do you recommend using Pro Tools or Audacity? Is there a way to save each individual session as an mp3 or wav and import them to PT or Audacity?

I read the manual and looked at the setting for the launch in the preferences. I tried different combination related to "Select on Launch", "Select Next Scene on Launch", "Start Recording on Scene Launch" but can't seem to get the count in when I arm the GLOBAL record. I have Select on Launch/Next ...

I'm a newbie to live. I am trying to write a song right now. I have the song mapped out to intro/section A/B/C. I would like to lay down the bass and guitar parts. how long should an audio clip be? What is recommended? Should I start this in the session view? Thanks in advance.
