Re: Too many USB devices in use?
Thanks for the comments!
The thing is - it's hard to test, because usually the problem happens after about 3/4 hours.
I'd have to play and watch continuously to see if something gets disconnected/connected.
But what I've also found in this thread: https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/248397 ...

Re: Too many USB devices in use?
Could there actually be more ideas? Because actually it also happens sometimes when there's no Generator, and when the power just comes from the normal net.
Could it possibly be software related?
Or some fault in the internal USB circuit?
I remember one time, the entire left USB port of the mac ...

Re: Too many USB devices in use?
jestermgee, that's interesting.
It's true that at home, everything usually works fine.
It's only on gigs or other locations where it sometimes happens.
In general it's very hard to test, because on other locations, it also doesn't happen all the time, I'd say only 20% of the time. And not at home ...

Re: Too many USB devices in use?
I think it cannot be that, because I always connect a device to the 2nd port on the Macbook, and sometimes this also gets disconnected. It's devices both from the 1st and 2nd USB port on the macbook that may get disconnected.
It get the impression that it has to be something in the USB circuit ...

Too many USB devices in use?
Hi! I've been having a serious problem during the last few very important shows I played with Live.
Sometimes, during a live-show, USB devices get disconnected out of the blue.
It can happen to my audio interface, but also other devices.
So I'm guessing it's not because any of my devices is broken ...

Disable program change midi-messages
Hi
When I change a patch on my external synthesizer connected to soft-synths like Reaktor, the presets on those change too (via program change messages).
I don't like this, especially not for playing live. Someone knows how to turn these off? (can't do this on my hardware synth, so has to be ...

Live 6 master sound is automatically compressed?
Hello!
Since I own Live 6, I have noticed that my master mix sound gets really compressed when it gets loud. While I obviously don't have any compressor loaded. It sounds really ugly, not a good compressor. Sounds like a portable sony mididisc recording or something. I didn't notice this with Live 5 ...
