That might well work but if you think about what im trying to do. Vocal chopping, that would be very time consuming and unintuitiveyur2die4 wrote:Have you tried different warp modes? And adjusting Formant in the Complex Pro warp mode?

Re: How do change the pitch without changing tempo of a sample?
Can I do this in Live?
As yur2die4 suggest this is very possible in Simpler of Live 9.5 and later. You could also use audio clips and warping. Sometimes that's much more convenient.
It doesn't work in simpler? If you use simpler and input midi notes, the higher the note the more chipmunk it ...

Controller mapping presets?
Can you save controller mapping as presets? Ill give you this example. I have an instrument rack here with 4 layers of sylenth and each cut off of Sylenth is mapped to its own macro within the group.
I also have 1 single midi controller knob mapped to each of the cut off macros. So essentially the ...

Rewire Ableton into Logic?
Hi guys,
Is it possible to use Ableton Live 9 as Master and Logic Pro X as slave? I know this wasn't the case in the past as logic was only capable of Master. If so could some nice person give me instructions on how to do this exactly? I need to make use of some of Logics plugins.
And just in ...

Ableton's Groove settings/Timing
Im unsure about the Timing settings in Live's Groove engine. If the global amount is set to 100% and the timing set to 50% with Bass at 1/16th does this mean that instead of each individual hit moving to the nearest 16th note it will move 50% of the way (when you calculate the distance from its ...

Send/Returns on signal chain

Where does the Sends feature on the signal chain of a channel? I am guessing just before the outputs? Just curious as if i were using logic i could insert sends before another effect which would have its own Aux channel. I know In live i could simply add In effect after effect on the ...

Is there a quick way to humanize velocity in live? like say I have a pattern of chords with 5 notes per chord and 8 chord progressions so 40 notes in total and I want to have the velocity of each note different to give it that human feel. In logic Pro its simple there is a humanize algorithm to do ...
