Re: do you have Info view mainly open or closed?

The Info is not linear.
For some devices (the newer ones), the Info view explains every parameter and for others not.

Re: "Snap to end"

Also I am missing the snap to end of clip feature in Live.
Adobe Audition has this feature to.

Comping is a recording features every DAW has: Cubase, DP, Sonar, Logic, ProTool, Propellerhead Record. But not Ableton.

Comping

I don't know the possibilities of M4L.
So I have a question.
Is it possible to make a device for recording in comping mode?

Re: video Software

Have a look at Magix Video deLuxe.
But it's PC only I'm afraid.

I am using the Operator, a Redux, a Saturator and the Large Space Chorus Reverb preset.
Sounds great.
Thank you.

Sound design: Explosion

I want an evolving sound to end up with an explosion.
Any hints?

Re: resetting the global time with a scene

What do you mean by "global time clock"?
In the help files "global time clock" does not exist.

Re: which synth.

I like to tweak the sound while playing.

So I like to play e.g. the Poly Evolver from Dave Smith.
Or the Waldorf Q+
(Almost every parameter has its own knob)
Really beautiful toys.
But its a matter of taste.
