I've got a 2020 13inch M1 Macbook Pro 16GB RAM with an LG 34inch Ultra wide monitor connected via an Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter with HDMI, which I'm using as my primary monitor and the MBP M1 as my secondary monitor.
The display settings for the Main display external monitor are: Use ...

Re: Sync Latency Compensation DISASTER
I don't see why they wouldn't work on at least a settings option to enable this if the main issue is that it functions differently in live situations. This is really frustrating and renders lots of these sorts of plugins timing-based plugins (shaperbox, lfo tool, oszilloscope, etc.) obsolete. Every ...

Re: Auto Warp Not Turning Off
Sorry - no. By resampling, I mean using the 'Resampling' function to record audio from another audio/midi channel within the same project.
When it records to the new track (the resampling track) it automatically has 'warp' on. I'd like it to have 'warp' off, as the default. Does that make more sense?

Auto Warp Not Turning Off
Hey all,
I've been doing a lot of resampling lately and one thing thats bothered me is that no matter what my 'auto warp' settings are in the preferences tab, whatever I've resampled always starts off in warp mode. This can be frustrating because before bouncing it to my samples folder I have to go ...

Buffer Size affecting Xfer LFO Tool timing??
Hey all, I'm working on a song and am almost complete with it, but the session is getting pretty heavy with loads of plugins and what not. Since I'm not recording anything live, i cranked the buffer size up to max (now its around 450), and noticed that the sidechain compression effect I'm using via ...

Cascading Midi Input in Drum Rack?
Hey all,
I'm wondering if there is a command to cascade (affect all samples below the selected one) the different samples in a drum rack's midi receive note input to be there same value. For example, I'm looking for kick drums and want to test each sample while watching the spectrum analyzer. So I ...

Crackling/Popping during playback!
Hey everyone,
I'm writing electronic music, using midi and some audio clips only. I don't have to much going on in the track yet and already there is a lot of crackling/popping when I'm listening back. Im on a Macbook Pro with 8gb of RAM and using an mbox 2 for an interface. My latency settings are ...

Routing a PC to a MAC in Ableton
Hey all,
I'm trying to run some plugins on my pc that I only have installed on my PC. What I would like to do is be able to play these plugins, or at least trigger them, with midi from my MAC. Basically, is there any way to use plugins I have on my PC on my Macbook Pro, without actually going ...

Dynamic Tube Help
Hey guys, Im adding the dynamic tube to my Minimoog synth bass sound to get some more grit in the sound. However when I activate the dynamic tube effect on the channel, the bass gets sweeped like im raising and lower the eq around 100hz or so... making the distorted signal insconsistant. It also ...
