problem solved!

Hi there,

tomorrow i have a music-test and i need to perform with ableton...
Now since i wanted to open it today there is a huge CPU overload when i play a synthesizer...
it does not matter which synth i play - it is around 70% and when i change to the next chord it is about 120%

i just searched for every file that has to do with massive (on the backup-drive), copied it and now it works!

i got a Problem with Massive and Previos Projects

I had to reset my Macbook and i reinstalled Ableton.
After that i reinstalled the Massive Synthi and opened an old Project with nearly
6-7 Massive Presets - but now all Massive Sounds contain the Preset-Massive Sound and
of course i ...

i installed an instrument rack, way better...
but the thing with the dummy clips - what information do i have to insert to the clip, that controls the "solo" button in the instrument rack?

so there is no way to let instruments change automatically?... would be sad

i just want to switch between the vst's -

now i am able to control the "arm" button of one synth with a button on the keyboard and the other synth with another button but everytime i want to change the synth i have to press the one button again to "un-arm" the synth...
the best case would be, if ...

i read something about it but i don't know how to programm it or i don't think it's the thing that i need maybe...

i have two vst's on 2 channels -
i want to play the one vst and then there is a midi-event which keeps playing
while the midi-event begins, i want to switch to the other vst on the ...

how?
is there any tutorial or help provided through ableton? i have just less experience in midi-programming...

maybe my question sounded more difficult than it actually was... i just wanted to use the automation on that track live - so i created a blank midi-track only with the synth and the automation - but the thing with mapping the mute buttons to the same midi button is also a ...

when i have 2 synths and i want, that the sound changes, without clicking somewhere... possible?
