thanks for a reply. I figured that it was prob a bug with PT rewire implementation. Hopefully Ableton and pro tools will try to fix or at least improve this bug

did you do trashing of just ableton preferences, or OS X USER preferences. If you havent erased the OS X USER preference, do that. It will be a pain in the neck to put all your setting back in on your programs, but it could fix your problem

i keep on getting all types of "the operation held off for too long, try increasing buffer setting" errors. I tryed every combo of bufffer settings and it still shows up with this error rather constantly. I have a powerful mac computer that should be able to run rewire with pro tools flawlessly ...

i have an identical setup as you cept that i have 512 mgs of ram. I also get that buffer problem occasionally. I believe its prob related to a bug in pro tools 6.1

I believe is by going into re-wire mode and having the outputs in pro tools plug in set to L-R

Hello all, im interested in entering ableton live competitions to exercise my ableton chops and have some fun, ive looked on the net and cant find any. Please give me some links to LIVE competitions, im feening for some action!

its actually can be quite a pain in the neck to get a digi 001 to work with a laptop. there are pci adapters, but they are expensive and dont neccesarily run that great performance wise.
