Hi there! I'm new to using drum controllers, and I'm just wondering if anyone could suggest any tutorials (videos or other) on how to efficiently use a drum controller with Ableton Live.

A good example of what I'm looking for would be how Skrillex (and many other artists) uses a drum controller's ...

I downloaded a free patch collection of .ksd files for Native Instruments Massive, and every time I try to open up one of the .ksd files I downloaded, massive and live both crash. Any ideas on what I can do to stop this? I'd REALLY like to be able to use these presets, thank you!

how do you set up the device for velocity?

I'm using a drum rack with samples I've pulled in for the drums and I'm just trying to edit the velocity of the hi-hats.

For some reason The velocity editor isn't working for me at all like it used to. I can select all of the notes I want to edit and everything works as it should, but it's not changing the sound whatsoever like it should. I'm sure you can see why it would be frustrating to not be able to edit the ...

An additional note, I'm using a simple sine wave operator, and the cracking seems to be coming from the high end. I've got the dry/wet all the way up on the reverb and I've got the reverb set to high quality. It's a real bugger trying to figure this out on my own, lol.
