many apologies, iv'e found out the track still plays distorted even in session view, no matter which track i import it to.

i thought that perhaps because it has some quite deep bass on each 4 bar loop that it may have been distorting how the track plays through ableton. yet i ...

when i import one of my own tracks into Live 5, even though it sounds fine when played through Media Player, the volume seems to go up and down on each 4bar loop whilst played in arrangement view, as if the volume has been drawn in a zig-zag motion.

does anyone know what might be the cause of this ...
