Utility has an invert option under the presets? Wow, Silly me...I'll try that tonight...Thanks for the help!

I normally set up my kicks in Simpler. I have heard a lot lately about inverting the phase on a kick drum sample to improve its sound in the mix and also it's punch. Can anyone let me know how this can be done in Simpler.

I use Ableton 8. AKAI MPK49, Access VIRUS TI, on PC with Windows 7 with Processor: AMD HDT35TWFGRBOX Phenom II X6 1035T Processor - Six Core, 8gb RAM

Just hooked up MOTU Track 16. Followed the instructions to a T. When I load up Ableton I get nothing but issues:

1. Midi keyboard does not work
2. no Sound
3. Play does not work
4. VERY SLOW

When I switch back to my regular sound card everything goes back to normal...Once again, Im lost for ...

I have the ASIO that I was using previously. Was simple to change the buffer size. But once I switch over the the Scarlett, im totally lost!

I got that far...I went and downloaded the actual control for the AI and what do you know...I go to load the control program and now it says no hardware detected!! The driver had been installed properly and the music is coming out of the AI and my monitors which are now connected...SO annoying!

So I just hooked up the New Audio interface...I hooked the Virus TI into the Scarlett via 1/4 in. The TI won't load due to the Buffer size not being 64, 128, 256, or 512. I don't know how to change it to one of these amounts because the buffer size it grayed out inside the Audio tab inside ...

I also read yesterday that he loves Izotope's Trash plugin. This thing can totaly mangle sounds and make them very original.

hmmmm... Yeah I dont want to spend the loot on Autotune just yet. I have a bad habit of buying things I think I need and then not using it. Maybe i cant find a free one to mess with.
