I would like to setup a live set where I can change routing, arming, midi mapping with the press of a button, or the launching of a scene. Any ideas? I think I can design a secondary system where a scene launch would send control surface commands to change arming, but changing routing and midi ...

I am really looking forward to this update. BeatMaker is really well done, and considering the limitations of the user interface, it's amazing!

-1. Vocoders are not very common production tools. They're way too specific. If you want a vocoder, go buy a vocoder.

agreed... not only dual monitor, but the ability to see a session and an arrangement at the same time!

I think it's unlikely - it has been discussed, but I dont think they'll do it - too much re-inventing the wheel and I really dont think it would be worth their enourmous effort

I would love this too, but I don't really see it happening. This is why I spent a lot of time turning my PC I run Ableton Live on into an appliance. I don't know if the rest of you have been as excited about this update like me, but Novation FINALLY released Automap 2.0. Hopefully this isn't a repost.

+1, Vinyl timecode isn't just for DJs. Producers scratch, cut and mix all sorts of stuff, and having timecode support will let us lowly producers be hip like a dj! (sorry, got a little sarcastic there, but I really do want this!)
