:edit: save and rebooted. fixed it. no idea what it was

Im trying to set up iMovie to record video and the audio output of my UA Apollo Twin to I can get decent quality audio on my Live Modular videos.

well i need to correct by 45milliseconds which is hellish for a recording of guitars. (its only 12 milliseconds on my laptop, but it still makes recordings sound awful)

Why does Live wipe existing audio tracks when i record midi
currently trying to record the output of a drum vst track to an audio track. when its recording it starts to wipe any audio thats on unarmed audio tracks. why? and how do i stop this?

is there a way to make the record button turn the record button off? at the moment i have to press stop or use the mouse to turn record off (by clicking on the record button again)
