Sorry if this been asked before.

Question: Is there a method to filter a vast collection of midi drum loops and have the Ableton explorer find similar beats. I'm referencing the library function in Tootrack Easy Drummer ... where their library will suggest other midi loops that are like 70 ...

Similar weirdness. I have no problems that I can detect with my last ears but I decided to go through the little Driver Error Compensation exercise from the help menu. The Audio 2 track never records the Audio 1 signal. Oh well .. just wanted to get the best out of my set up but since figuring out ...

So this means that all tracks must be stereo ? This is not working out for me. There must be way to get to mono. Utility does not do it .... the whole manual is hyper fixed on going from Mono to Stereo .. not the other way around.

So how do we do it. I'm just a newb but I'm pretty sure having a full set of all stereo tracks "aint quite right."

Anyone know the file pathway for the SKINS on a Mac operating system. It's easy enough to find in Windows but Mac is confusing me.

Just installed 4 more gigs for $50.00 (new egg store). Not sure I can tell the difference but its an older Mac (G5 2.0 Ghz Duo Core)maybe I'm just allowing Ableton to hog 4 gigs and everything else now has tons of room.

I play rock & metal so I can just flatten tracks along the way ... as a newb it ...

Heres what I do:
I use 2 compressors. Set side chain input on comp 1 for snare and comp 2 for kick. Rack them, and set macros to treshold, attack and release for each. Now you can copy/paste it wherever you need it. I keep it in my template together with a kick and a snare track. It must be a year ...

Any suggestions guys .. on drum loops for purchase. I'm no drummer but just want to buy something to get started. Should I get a "metal" CD and just veer toward the slower bpm loops or just stick with alt rock?

I'm a guitarist, totally new to Ableton and in need of drum loops beyond the freebies ...
