I understand there are operator presets, but i have to download them from the ableton site. anyone know where i can find them?

Hi, I find with Live that when i play tracks it often has a few milisecond delay when a new audio sample comes in. the tracks arent CPU heavy at all - no plug-ins - and even if i put the buffer right the way up, it still happens. anyone else had this issue, and how does one solve it?

Ive installed several plug-ins in my plug in folder at /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST
but Live only recognizes one of them. the others dont appear in live. any idea how i could get it to recognize them. i know they work with live, cos they used to work on my PC.

Im having trouble installing my Edirol keyboard on my new mac. Ive installed the driver, but Live still doesnt recognize it. the manual hasnt been much help. any ideas how i get it to recognize it?

Hi,

I have this weird glitch with live 6. basically, sometimes when i launch a set or a new audio effect, i get an audio pulse, like a distortion which occurs at about a second interval. it continues, no matter if i up the audio buffer to maximum, until i switch off live and restart it.

I just got the remote SL which maps onto ableton using its clever automap feature.

in general, its lots of fun, but heres a prob i have - when i tweak controls on the SL theres no probs, but when i then tweak things direct on ableton, such as the volume of different tracks, i get serious ...

i have an M-Audio thing, but havent been able to get it to work yet! i put a USB from the laptop to it, then a chord from it to my hi-fi...but no results, so have used a chord straight from laptop to hi-fi instead. will try and get the blasted thing to work.

Dumb question, but does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to hook up Ableton, through my laptop, to a PA in a club? I presume a chord going straight from the laptop into the PA isnt the best way...should i do it through an M-Audio thingamejig?
