It doesn't allow you to remap anything, the button assignments are predetermined...

This seems to be a lost cause until Ableton actually supports the product.

Exactly! Thank god someone understands what I'm trying to do. The only thing is...I've discovered that if you change the protocol in Ableton to Tranzport, rather than Mackie, it will actually control the transport in live, but also control the REC, SOLO, MUTE functions on whichever track is selected ...

I'm looking for something that will change the value of a MIDI note, into another one.

I've got a controller that outputs predetermined MIDI notes, and I can't adjust them on the controller, so I wanna change them in the signal path.

Any ideas?

I just bought one today for use in Pro Tools, but I'd also love to be able to use it in Live 6.

It has has limited use when I try it under Mackie Control in Live, for instance, it controls just the first tracks volume slider, and the transport controls (global, and track level). But there doesn't ...

I actually own the Remote SL 25, and just bought an AlphaTrack today.

I'm still in the process of getting it to work with Live 6, but it seems like a great controller. Pro Tools works really well with it, and actually gives you a LOT of control from just the A/T.

We'll see how it works with Live ...

because live is such a great tool for artists working in surround (electro acoustic compasition and installations) and for working to video...

can we have

customisable surround panners, so you select the number of outputs for example 8 mono or stereo pair...then you can place the speakers ...
