Moving Clips Keyboard Command in Arrangement view?
Hello,
Would anyone happen to know if it's possible to move clips around the arrangement view with the keyboard arrow keys and a modifier key, for example? That would be very cool and handy.
Cheers.

Re: INSERT SILENCE IN SESSION VIEW?
That's cool, my only gripe is that arrange page has horrible zooming properties, you have to zoom from the top then go to each track and drag it down to get some vertical zoom- that's a lot of clicking track by track, an absolute joke. Couldn't they have implemented an extra zoom for both horizontal ...

INSERT SILENCE IN SESSION VIEW?
Hello friends,
Just wondering what peoples go-to method is for inserting a silence/ deleting an audio bit within a clip in the session view? I know you can use envelopes and click little automation dots, drag the lines for a volume fade, etc- isn't that cumbersome? Is there a faster way to do it ...

Re: Naming Midi Ports Possible?
Thanks so much for the response. Sorry, I should have specified, I'm running the latest version of Ableton 8 on Mac OSX. I've looked in the Midi preferences, but under Midi Ports, it does not allow for any renaming. Can you give me some details plz on how to achieve this?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Naming Midi Ports Possible?
Hi there,
I don't think this is possible, but hoping someone may have a workaround. Within the Midi Sync in Preferences, I don't see anyway of naming the various ports of a midi interface. This would help tremendously if you have 16 ports all going to various outboard instruments and you'd like ...

Specific Names to Midi Ports?
Hi there,
I was wondering, when configuring your midi interface's ports, is it possible to specifically name the ports with the corresponding external instruments that are connected it to it? The equivalent to something like Logic's environment page. For example, right now my midi ports are just ...
