I use follow actions but yes, this would be much more convenient. Hey ableton doods, just let us switch the loop switch on while warping is off please. :) yeah...also that but first of all I want a switch to turn off the automatic warp of new recorded tracks...I hate warping in every single situati...

No, either repitch or beats mode should do absolutely nothing unless the tempo is changed. what are U guys talking about?...all the guys complaining in this topic are absolutelly right...I hate that automatic warp for new audio recorded tracks....it definetelly interfeer if U don't manually turn it...

Thanks for all the input so far. That's right, I did mean with the loops on separate tracks. I can see in retrospect that I seemed to be rather intently referring to overdub looping, whereas I was just namechecking that approach to clarify the type of music building I had in mind, but I'm glad some...

Okay... I have a question that's a little off topic, but still related to the FCB1010. First, let me set up a scenario... Let's say that on Bank 00, Patch 1 I have expression pedal A set to control the volume of track 1. Then, on Bank 00, Patch 2 I have expression pedal A set to control the volume ...

I use the FCB1010 purely for record arming so I can play .operator and simpler patches through my MIDI equipped guitar. I have just figured out how to use the fcb for live looping into Ableton, and it is mindblowing what you can do without your hands! I have to say that I have never found a use for...

I'm pretty sure that Live stops a note that is MIDI mapped from playing a VST softsynth in a regular fashion, in order to avoid confusing situations. That's very true...but in case U were answering to my previews post U didn't get it right...I said that I use a dedicated midi in for the fcb1010...t...

Re: The Definitive Guide to Programming the FCB1010 for Live
The advantage of using CC’s rather than MIDI notes is that the FCB1010 won’t advertently play notes… clarity First of all thanx for the effort...I'm sure it's been apreciated a lot...But I don't get exactly why U prefer midi CC instead of midi notes...I personally learned to program the FCB1010 to ...
