I know how to preserve automation when copying a clip on the same track, but how can you preserve it when copying to a separate track?

I have used a sample pack, frozen the track and then accidentally deleted it, is there anyway to get the original samples back?

I have a max patch that takes info from an audio channel and uses the data to trigger samples via midi. How to I use this in M4L because I can't have audio and midi in the same track?

Hi Guys,

When I put an effect on a send/return and put the send/return level on a track to maximum, it doesn't effect the signal as strongly as putting the effect on the track as an insert. Does any one know why?

Does anyone know how to trigger samples using a gate? By that I mean for example if an audio signal goes above a certain level it will trigger the sample? So a gate could be set to -3dbfs and only a loud sound (a clap etc) would trigger it?

The version on the Liine website only works with Ableton 8.2.2 which I don't have and can't afford to upgrade at the moment. The version on the liine website is labelled as v2.0 does any one have v1.0? Or a version that will work with my Ableton version 8.1.3.
