@wehkah
Yeah I know where your coming from. The more I do my research the more Intel keeps popping up.
I thought I could get an AMD same spec cheaper price but it's not as straight forward as that & Intel seem to beat AMD on most benchmarks.

Re: Maschine controller with Ableton?
Would I be stupid to use my APC40 along side the maschine or should I replace the APC with something else because I really like using the clip launch, track/solo buttons & knobs for devices and was hoping they would work well together.

Re: Maschine controller with Ableton?
After watching numerous videos on Youtube. I've decided that I would be foolish not to get a Maschine..
These look amazing for creativity & looks you can make your samples or beats in Maschine then export them into Ableton.
Does anyone use one with Live?
Can someone give me some feedback please ...

Maschine controller with Ableton?
Is it worth me getting a maschine for beat programming, DJing & producing etc to use with Ableton if I already have an APC40 or should I just get a padkontrol?
I've heard the maschine is really good but is that mainly with its own software?

Which keyboard controller is best for me?
I am looking for a 2 to 3 octave keyboard to go with my setup.
I have an APC40 along with a soon to be purchased padkontrol.
The main purpose would be for DJ mixes, remixing & mastering.
Looking to spend no more than £200 & would prefer plenty of control for Ableton Live.

Re: Which pad controller is best to go with my APC40? MPD or MPK
Thanks guys but I was hoping for some support on the MPD, seems like korg win hands down.
If I was to mod the MPD pads would the Akai win then & what would I use the Korg xy pad for in programming?
I'm trying my hardest to defend the MPD because I have an APC40 and think the quality is very good ...

Re: Which pad controller is best to go with my APC40? MPD or MPK
I forgot to mention that I will be doing all round music production & dj mixes but want program my own beats. I quite like the look of the MPK beside the APC but not sure if I would achieve the same as with an MPD.
Are the pads on the MPK smaller than the MPD and what functions have been ...

Which pad controller is best to go with my APC40? MPD or MPK
I want to start making my own beats with a bit more control other than using just the APC40 alone.
Ideally I would like a drum controller (mpd32) & a separate keyboard controller but have seen the MPK which has both.
My shortlist consists of AKIA MPD 26/32, MPK25, KORG Padkontrol, ROLAND A-300 PRO ...
