Is there any way in Live to record the midi out of a VSTi such as BFD? I would like to record the BFD midi data from the Groove Files for further editing. I can do it in SX but and would like to be able to do this in Live as it is my main sequencer.

Can anyone tell me how to set up the X/Y pad on a Remote 25 so it works with the X/Y controller on Autofilter. I cant figure it out as you can't seem to do it through midi learn.

In the manual for the Remote 25 it mentions a 'template.als file within the Ableton file included on the Remote CDRom. It states it has to be copied to the Live prefs directory. I dont seem to have it on my CD. I have asked Novation about this but as yet I have recieved no reply. Can anyone shed ...

Thanks for that. It works. Although I still think it would be good to be able to switch between the two programs without having to disable midi in one to work the other. This would be useful in situations where you were playing live for example.

Is it possible to record controller info to a track without recording the sample?

I seem to have aquired a little red dot on my tempo display. It seemed to appear just after I was messing with the tempo tap botton. Now, when I press play, the tempo has a life of it's own! I must have keyed in some tempo info but I dont know where to delete it. Can anyone help ?

Does anyone have problems with tempo tapping under rewire with SX ?
When I try to use thisa function the song pointer jumps all over the place and I cant get a correct tempo reading.

I seem to be having a problem syncing loops to SX. I tend to load up a wav file which may contain several loops. I then move through them to see which works. In some situations the loops play at the wrong tempo to the song in SX.

I would like to set Live so that when I press stop it stops at that point rather than taking me back to the start marker. Is this possible ?
I find it a little frustrating if I am trying top find an edit point and have to keep retracing my steps

That was meant to read 2.0 as in Reason 2.0.

The missing beat thing I believe, is a Reason problem. It happens with Cubase and Reason also. I too have sent several emails but noone seems to pick up on it. I thought it would be resolved in ".0 but it still happens. Most frustrating.
