That's gettting close, unless I still don't understand.
What I want to do is have any midi input note C3 and down play a C3. what I have been able to do with the scale is have any note within the octave of C3 play a C3. Is there more?

What I want to do is have any midi note I imput come in as say C4. So if I had an impluse drum hit set up for C4 any note I played would play the drum hit. Next I would like to do a range of say E2 to E3 trigger one sample and F3 to E4 trigger another sample so no matter what I played in those ...

Mine on an intel mac is: User/Library/Applications Support/Ableton/Library.

In the process of going from Live 5-6-7. And merging a Library form my other computer, Live can not find any of the samples. My Library is so screwed up. Can anyone tell the proper hirearch of the folders in Live 7?

I also reproduced this. How do you know which file is the correct one? The monitored one or the non-monitored one?

Well, after reading the manual and going thru the process - it is all worked out. When I selected the Libary as per the manual it never came up with the option to convert so I had to do it manually.
Anyway everything seems to be working.

After upgrading to Live 6 from Live 5, I have sessions where I load for example B5 adg and it can't find the samples. They are in the Library/Samples/Waveforms/Components/Harmonics.
When I show through the clips manager where they are - it dosn't remember them from one sessions to the next even ...
