hmm. ok thanks. seems like it should be so simple

I am wondering if there is any way for me to quantize when the crossfader is affected if I map the crossfader to jump from one side to the other with a button. I want to jump back into one track exactly on beat. there must be a way to do this but I cant figure out how.

I would like to be able to be dj'ing with a song playing on my "A" side and have my "B" side be a drum rack full of samples/cue points and I would like to have the crossfader jump from the a side to the b side as soon as I trigger any of the pads on the drum rack. any suggestions on how to do this ...

So when I go to load up a project file, the file will load, but the bar at the bottom where it says buffering samples just gets stuck at 0 percent. it never goes anywhere. This is a major concern for me, because I can't make sound on ableton. someone please help me here.
