Does anyone here know about an alternative to the QuickTime Music Synthesizer in Mac OSX?

I have recently collectet alot of Quicktime karaoke files (.kar) for my wife, she likes to sing alot. They use the QuickTime Music Synthesizer included in QuickTime to playback the MIDI soundtrack in the file ...

To get the Ensonic into the computer,
you´ll need a screwdriver and some patience,
try to not use brute force,
because this could cause damage to the units!

The Dialer Dub was made way back on my old Ensonic ASR 10 Sampler, it had a brilliant sound, that i am not able to get in the computer unfortunally..
