Whats the usb thing called

Hi, does anyone know what the wire is called that one side is USB and the other plugs into the back of your midi keyboard, its like a small square

I need to buy a new cable but i dont know what to search, USB to ??? wire

whenever i try to make a lead sort of sound it ends up a dirty bass, but i was trying to make this clean sort of sound but cant match it without it getting distorted n stuff.

2 Knife party synths

i'm looking how to make 2 knife party synths in the song rage valley.

the first one is the very first synth, its like a plucky bass
the second on is at 02:01, it's like a cool guitar sound

i'm playing around in sylenth with reasonable results, anyone gotany ideas?

i was watching an interview with feed me and they asked him what tips he had, he said "You need good referencing, so get a tune you like, bounce..." and then he got cut off

i was guessing he is saying get a tune you like, bounce it to audio then play it along side your track and take notes and ...

i believe the first example you give is not a chord as such, because it only has two notes it would be an interval. i would call that first example a major third interval.

your second example is just a c major. the fact that the major third is an octave higher doesn't make any difference to that ...

Hi, i was looking t some midi files and ive been seeing loads of chords i'm not familiar with like:

deadmau5 uses this alot, he will have triad, but scrap the second note and raise the third note up and octave, and maybe double the root note down an octave so it would be (if it was a C major chord ...

Sounds like a standard supersaw being sidechained.

Lot's of synths have a supersaw preset. If not, it's pretty easy to create. I'm guessing since you're trying to make Skrillex sounds that you're using Massive, so:
All 3 oscillators set to sawtooth, amp all the way up.
Detune one of them -10 ...

If its the latter:

C minor – Ab major – C minor – Bb major most of the time, then Bb major – Ab major at the end of the phrase before the vocals come in.
